Choose the experience you enjoy.
Physical duck hunting may appeal if you like making tags, preparing little gifts, or taking home a tangible souvenir. Digital hunting may appeal if you enjoy AR discovery, themed digital collections, and using your phone to explore.
You do not need to stop enjoying one to try the other. The important thing is knowing which experience you are starting and what you need to take part.
Paddo is not a physical-duck tracker.
You do not scan a physical rubber duck to turn it into a Paddo find. Paddo’s central loop is choosing a digital duck, placing it with AR, and searching for digital ducks hidden in supported real-world settings.
Start with a small outing.
For your first digital hunt, pick a familiar, appropriate place and follow the app’s prompts. If there are no ducks nearby, try another area or begin by hiding a duck from your own collection. When playing with someone else, each participant needs the app and suitable setup.
